The Kings Arms

The Kings Arms

Main Road, Ombersley, Droitwich, WR9 0EW

This classic British pub is a 15th century timber-framed country pub nestled in the characterful village of Ombersley.

The pub’s name comes from a particularly noteworthy moment in history when King Charles II sought refuge here after the Battle of Worcester. To mark the occasion, the inn celebrated Oak Apple Day until about 1914, and even today, the memory is kept alive in the fine plaster ceiling displaying the Royal Arms.
